37 week appointment or is it 36 week???

Ok so my doctor is driving me crazy! I went for my 37 week appointment today and I asked her if I was dailated enough if she would strip my membranes and she says she cant because im only 36.4 weeks today. She is going by my first u/s, but I know when my LMP was and when I ovulated. She said it doesnt matter and that u/s in early pregnancy is more accurate because my pregnancies are so close together my periods didnt have time to regulate. Not a big deal accept I know im right and she isnt, lol. So she checked my cervix and baby is still really high but I know that more than likely wont change untill im in labor and than she will drop. Im 2 cm dailated but that means little to me since I usually dailate to a 4-5 over weeks before I go into labor. My fundal height is measuring 39-40 weeks!! My doctor did a quick scan and baby is still head down. She felt my belly and guessed baby to be over 7 and a half pounds already..............so next thursday at my 38 week appointment im getting another growth scan to see exactly how big the baby is. I am excited about that:) My doctor seems to think that I will go before 39 weeks so im hopeing she is right and I go real soon.  My belly is so over extended it hurts!! Im 37 weeks today and I want to have her here by next friday!! I told DH he better start drinking some energy drinks or something because we are going to be spending alot of time in the bedroom trying to induce labor natrauly:)))

Ok so you may not have tipped over but I swear Im still going to, lol. Have you seen my 35 week picture yet? Hehe:) Did your water break on its own with your other pregnancies?? Or was this the first time?? My waters have never broke without the aid of my doctor and their little hook, just curious if it might happen diffrently this time.

My OB did the same thing I'm off by 6 days so I finally started using their dates even though am 100% on my LMP. Good luck in the bedroom, I hope it works for you! :)

Good luck...I hope she comes soon. I'm glad neither one of us tipped over...But I did "POP" first...Literally.....hahaha   Good luck again and keep me posted...

I'm kinda in the same boat... first my EDD was 8/15, then according to early u/s's the peri changed it to 8/9... but my doc still "does his thing" according to my orig due date... however, I measure closer to the 8/9 date... but it all really comes down to when baby decides anyway, is what i figure... so we'll see what date HE chooses... lol   good luck, not long now either way! :)

LOL well good luck to you and Hubby, I have heard red bull works good for that LOL, I have had contrations all day today but not strong enough to do alot, I just got rid of a GI bug and now have it again so that *****, but I am drinking lots of water and staying in bed so all should be fine, hope to see a post soon that says she is on her way.
