So I think my baby is gonna be HUGE.....

So by the looks of things I think this little girl  is gonna be gigantic.....My stomach is so big already and it is so heavy. I have so much pressure on my pelvis already.  This is all making me so nervous. I am afraid they are gonna say I need a c-section. My other children were born regular labor. I have never had a c-section before.  My last daughter was 8 lbs 9 1/2 ounces and 21 inches long. She was so big she had a broken collar bone when she came out. I am only 5"1 and 125 lbs. Well I am way over 125 now but you get my point. This is really freaking me out already.  Sorry I just needed to vent a little. My nerves are getting the best of me lately..........

Yeah, it was something else, I tell you. My MD now wonders if I had gestational diabetes then, too, and it wasn't picked up by the tests. That was nine years ago. But I measured big through the whole pregnancy - at one point I was measuring six weeks big and they kept telling me I MUST have the conception date wrong. But, no...when there's only one date to choose from, it's pretty easy to know when you got pregnant...lol. Incidentally, he's *still a big boy. He was 9 in February and he's 5'2", weighs 120 pounds and wears a men's size 9 shoe. I think I have a pic of him in my profile. Anyway, I'm really hoping this baby isn't that big - but I dunno. My husband is 6'6", and there's no man in my whole family shorter than 6' tall. So, the odds are pretty good that he'll be big...lol.

You know, I think sometimes we just carry a lot differently, and it doesn't necessarily mean the baby is bigger. With this one, I'm very low...like you, lots of pelvic pressure, and I mostly feel his movements down low in my pelvic area. But, honestly, I don't think he's going to be as big as my last one. He was born at 36 weeks 3 days, and was almost 9 pounds, and 23 whopping inches long! Full term he would have been at least 12 pounds! And I carried him pretty high, though...all up in my ribs. So, it's just hard to say! But, either way, I'm sure you'll do great!

Ya I know what you mean blueeyedtabbycat......I get those same faces when I go out with all four of mine and then I have this giant belly. I don't know if people realize that they stare. I swear everyone looks at me like I am going to explode any minute. I can't go to any store without someone commenting on my pregnancy. Next time someone makes a comment I think I am gonna say "Uh...I'm NOT pregnant" and then look at the horror in their face after that..That would be pretty funny.

Unless something's gone glitchy, I don't think your body would produce a baby bigger than you could get out on your own.

My biggest was 9.1 and happen to be the one natural I think I had an epidural with all the rest but him. He was # 5 and 2 wks late. MOO!! My dd after him was 7.8 and I had the epidural to be prepared bc of course they told me she was going to be just as big or bigger.

Ok so this morning I was curious and measured my belly like my doctor would. And I measured over 30 cm!!! Thats over 30 weeks!! I re did the measurements 3 times and kept getting the same number. I have and appointment on the 29th I have to know if Im really measuring that big, lol! I wonder if I could have GD or something?? I know if my blood surger gets too low I get dizzy and sick, but thats not a sign is it?? I wish I knew how big the u/s tech thought the baby was. She didnt say.......just kept repeating how big she was. Watch im going to go past 40 weeks and have a 7 pound baby, lol:=)

Well my biggest baby was only 7 lbs 9 oz but he was 2 weeks early and at his 2 week check up he was already over 10 lbs!! He was my chunky monkey, lol! The u/s tech and doctor both told me that my little girl was a BIG girl but didnt say by how much. Im kinda excited to see how big she gets:) I want to avoid a c-section if possible but so far baby girl is breech:( My doctor still hasnt measured my fundle height yet but I was laying in bed last night and was feeling my belly and my uterus is way higher than all the books say it should be at 26-27 weeks!! It is just about to the bone between my ribs!!! I am very big already and am constantly getting asked when im due and when I say mid August I get the craziest looks. You should see the reactions I get when Im out shopping with all my kids including my 8 month old, lol!!!

I'm right there with you girls! Altho my oldest(boy) was 7 lb 3.4 oz, and my middle (girl) was only 6lb 6 oz, I just KNOW this one(boy) will be ATLEAST 8 lb... I just know it... I've never had a C-section before either and I'd like to keep it that way(no offense to anyone whose had a Csection). Anyhoo, I'm already looking 9 mos prego... matter of fact the lady at the grocery store near my house keeps making comments like, "when are the twins due?"   .... yeah i know, she needs to be slapped right!? I'm gonna start saying, "Tomorrow, can you believe how tiny I am!?" ugh, people! good luck to you guys, hang in there - its not too much longer! :)

I am SOO with you! (See previous post, LoL).  I look like I am due any day, but my due date is August 2. = (

I am also concerned about the baby being huge. My biggest has been 8 lb, 1 oz, but I am really hoping this one comes a week or two early so he isn't too big!
