baby is constipated what to do?

MY ob put me on iron suplement what cost me constiption as well as baby i am off it know b/c even with stool softner i couldn't take it but jas is still constipated how can i help him

ok little update we went to see dr 2day and she told me to coocke prne in water and give 2oz to baby and it helped righ awayy

I used Karo syrup too...I had to take MaKayla to the doc for this problem on yesterday. The Karo worked last night. We also gave her 1oz of prune juice with 2 oz of nursery water and she went again this morning with no problem.

I used a tiny bit of light Karo syrup (you can get it at any grocery store) in a bottle and it clears up constipation within a few hours.

My doctor said try giving the baby 1.5 ounces of water a day and if that doesn't help there is this juice from gerber that is called apple prune juice and to give them 1.5 ounces.  It helped my baby.
