I saw my little bean and heartbeat!

Yesterday was my ultrasound and I we were able to see the baby and it's little hb. It was a great moment. It actually measured 6w 4d..which is 4 days behind what it would measure from LMP. Doc said it's fine. I do still have hemmorhaging that covers 40% of the gestational sac, but it healed tremendously from last week. I know this week it will continue. I can't wait for everyone else to see theirs!! I'm posting a pic.

Sorry I guess I missed your question! They did measure the hb and it was 113, which sounded low to me but they assured me over 100 is good. So i'm not worried!!

Congrats.
I got to see mine last Friday I was also around the same as you.  I don't have a scanner to upload my pic and my cell is not working too good.

Congrats!!! I go tomorrow for my ultrasound. I will be 6w6d. Hoping to hear the heartbeat this time! So did your EDD change since you measured smaller?

I think the fetal pole is the crown to rump measurement which is the baby.  So 8 MM is pretty big.

The fetal pole is just what they call it at this stage. She told me that the sac is actually the round thing on the right hand side. The fetal pole is everything else attached to the sac. My fetal pole measured 8mm. So even though the picture looks like a little bitty baby with a head and all, it's really not yet. I wish that she didn't have to write that on my ultrasound anyway!! It's almost like she wanted to make sure I didn't actually call it a baby yet. Hope that helps, I'm definetely no expert!

AWWWW... Ok, forgive me but what is the actual fetal pole?  I have NEVER been able to tell what it is I'm looking at on the u/s.  I mean i know where the baby is but what is the fetal pole?  Is it the length from one end of the sac to the other?  Just wondering... thanks
