What are you doing to pass the time?

Just wondering what everyone is doing to keep their minds off how slowly the time is passing. LOL. It's been so hot that I haven't been doing too much but I need something to occupy my time. I finished a cross-stitch and I've gone through the baby things a dozen times. I've watched movies and cleaned the house. I've tried to read books but can't concentrate.

I as well have 2 other kids at home, so they are pretty much entertaining me...I have also been trying to get the house together for baby, and since my husband just started his leave today, it has been just me here so I have plenty to do lol

My son just turned 21 months so that keeps me busy,but with this heat and not sleeping at night I am so ready for Saoirse to be born.

Sounds like you ladies are pretty busy. I have 3 other kids as well but they are 13, 11 and 8 so they really don't need a lot of attending to but I can't leave them alone either. I can't believe how anxious I am for this baby to get here. I haven't felt this way since my first. Maybe it's because with #2 & #3 I had babies and toddlers to keep me busy. Thanks for the input. I think I might start another cross-stitch. Maybe bibs and I do have to do some back to school shopping.

I have been packing my apartment up to move. It's taken a lot of time to do this.  We actually started moving stuff today and then will finish tomorrow. Were only moving about a mile away.  

I then get the privilege of deep cleaning the apartment to get our deposit back. I don't think this is going to work out so well. I had a yard sale planned for this weekend but I'm gonna have to postpone it.  

I think I will be pretty busy the next week or so just unpacking and organizing stuff.

I can't believe I only have 5 weeks left.

Ugh..I'm still working so that helps a bit. For some reason my boss is making me go to even more meetings which makes time go by faster since I've got no time left to do my own work. It just keeps my mind busy for the six hours I'm there.

I'm also going to the beach on the weekends. It helps me relax, and seeing  funny people walking by keeps my mind off my desperation to not be pregnant anymore.

it does feel like it is taking a long time for this baby to come, but at the same time for me I feel like a chicken running around with it's head cut off (sorry bad analogy) trying to get everything done and keep up with everything. i have 3 other kid's ages just turned 7, 4, and 2 and I am trying to get things ready for them to go back to school, my 7 year old is going into 1st grade and my younger to are both going to preschool. I also have more cleaning i want to get done on the house and I have paper that I need to file. I have to see the Dr atleast once sometimes twcie a week, my 7 year old recently started ADHD meds, so he has to go to the Dr every 2 weeks, our 2nd car broke down, so anytie I need the car I have to take my husband back and forth to work, and I baby-sit for a firend for a few hours a few days a week, I feel like there are not enough hours in the day! LOL sorry I'm ranting a little bit, it's just a lot to deal with right now!
Karen maybe you should try taking up another craft project or hobby while you are still waiting, maybe that would help? then again at this stage, it will probably be hard to focus on anything for long!  Good luck
