Yes somewhat right. I guess next time if  you plan to have another you should mark the dates you baby dance on your calendar so when you get pg you would know. I used to do that (mark BD dates) when trying for my no. 1.

I am puzzled,  tayshus -if you are 20 weeks 2 days as mentioned in your previous post , how can your due date be Aug 13th? For me I am due Aug 16th and I am only 19 weeks 3days. You should be 19 weeks 6 days if your due date is Aug 13th. Anyway - it doesnt really matter in the end cos as long as your doc is happy with the baby's size, thats good enough. As for conception date - you would need to use a pregnancy calculator found on some websites and key in your LMP and your cycle days to estimate when you conceive. A good source would be www.babymed.com

No - I don know what I am having yet for sure. Not confirmed but my Ob thinks its a girl. Girls are sweet so I am happy with that either way.

I'm confused too. And this is my 4th baby! At 10w 5d I had an u/s and they measured the baby at 11w 5d. So they changed my due date. Even though I know the exact date I got pregnant and my lmp. Anyway, my gestational age and weeks pregnant match.

oh ok.... I get it now, i think? So ur pregnancy isnt counted from gestational age, its counted from ur lmp, and gestational age is 2 wks afta that, is that rite?

Hi - gestational age means the actual age of your baby and yes its different from counting from your LMP. Some women don remember when their last period was so what docs do is they scan the baby and based on the size they will gauge the baby's gestational age. Then they add backwards 2 weeks to get your estimated LMP.  Hope this helps.
