What do practice contractions feel like?

I feel cramps in the front of my abdomen.  There's no rythem to them.  Is that braxton hicks?

It could be BH, or it could just be your uterus growing. The best way I can explain BH is it's like a person is standing behind you holding a sash to your stomach, and then they pull the sash really really tight and your stomach gets tight and hard for about a minute, and then all of the sudden it releases. Baby usually curls up into a ball during them too. They get pretty uncomfortable, but should not cause intense pain. The best way to get rid of them is to drink water and lay on your left side and they should calm down.
