I heard 19 weeks, but I'm going to pay to have the 3d ultra sound at 13w (I'm 11w) 'cause my DH can't wait to find out it's our first n probably only child so we want to experience everything there is to offer!!! ;)
You, can tell by about 14-15weeks, however, from experience most techs/Dr.s wont even attempt a look or guess before 18weeks. Reason, is because the genitals can look a lot a like until then. And there not suppose to give you an answer unless they can be more then 80% sure. ( so I'm told) So it's possible, if have to know before 18weeks, but unless you got a really good u/s machine, a baby willing to show all and a very skilled tech/Dr.. You'll probably gonna have to wait till between 18-24 weeks
I had my nuchal scan yesterday when I was 12 weeks 6 days and the baby measured 13 weeks 1 day. The doctor was a perineotaologist and he said he is 98% sure I am having a boy! He used the nub theory to tell us. He just made in the top 100 docs in USA according to US News.
Really u found out that early ??? I'm 12 wks 2 days I have an u/s scheduled hopefully for Tue !!!!! (I'm in ct my appointment was supposed to be Fri but because of the weather it was cancelled) I want a girl ,I already have 2 sons but both me n my husband have a feeling its a girl !!!!
