labor....maybe

Good morning ladies!! I went to the doctor Thursday and he told me I was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced. He said I'm most def not going to make it until my due date,(which is 8/13). Well I worked last night and I felt pressure all day yesterday. TMI but I had some diarrhea last night at work and some contractions that were 10 mins apart. I went to sleep and woke up maybe 3x with back pains, but no real contractions. I called the doctor and he said wait it out and see what happens. Does this sound like pre-labor or braxton hicks to yall?

thats what my mom said happened with me actually. But my water hasn't broke and I lost some of mucous plug but that was at 35 weeks....grrrr this is so confusing

It can be. I never had real consistent contractions and I was in labor but my water had already broke.
