sitting up

Ok so for very obvious reasons going from laying down to sitting up in bed every few hours to feed/change a newborn at night is extremely painful. But everytime I go I can't help but imagine my incision splitting open. Please someone tell me that's not gonna happen lol this is my first time sleeping in my own bed tonight and I'm terrified

I remember having the same fear but I realized why scare myself if it looks like its healing properly, do u have any drainage or bloody areas? It it looks like it sticked back on the edges I don't think it will happen as long as u take care of yourself, like get up properly using your hands not your abdominal muscles and sleeping on the side gave me so much pain afterwards so I slept on my back most of the time, and wearing a binder helped a lot, I'm not gonna say relax cause its impossible lol everything will be alright, its just the first two months r the most difficult especially after c-section, after that its going to be easier

I've had 3 c/s my last one was just on the 16th, my first was 6 yrs ago and yes it sucked. I couldn't stand upright for weeks and I couldn't lay flat for 4 weeks. Try sleeping propped up that way you don't over use your stomach muscles.
