when is active labor going to start?

I am 38 weeks almost 39 pregnant and Im now 3 cm dilated and 60% effaced. I am now losing my mucus plug as we speak a little at a time. I went to the hospital last night due to some hard contractions n thats when I found out that I was 3 cm dilated and still 60% effaced.I have tried everything I can think of doing to induce my labor from walking, squats, sex and drinking several cups of red raspberry leaf tea. I am teally tired of being pregnant. Can anyone help me? Please help me!!

Thanks. I tried my manual breast pump earlier tonight n I had strong contractions for about n hour afterwards but then they faded to basically nothing. Im hoping it happens really soon. The waiting process is killin me. Good luck to u as well. :)

Nipple stimulation either manually or if you have a pump, there are pressure points that you can find online, black cohosh, along with the things you're already doing.
I'm with you, I went in yesterday because I have preeclampsia and I just didn't feel right and they thought I was in early labor and told me to do all those things, I was 2cm very soft and thin. Been having horrendous back pain and lots of painless contractions and lost a ton of plug so hopefully labor is in progress. Sending labor vibes your way!
