6wks and having light bleeding

I'm six week (due August 1st) and yesterday I started bleeding lightly. I called my OB and she didn't seem concerned she just said to call her if it gets heavier and is accompanied by cramps. Anyone else have this happen to them? This is my 4th child and I've never bled with any of them. I'm getting worried.

My wife has had some light pink spotting. She is now in her sixth week so we were a bit alarmed. She also has bled during intercourse. That time it was red and had the two of us freaking out a bit. We didn't know if it was serious enough to go to the er or if it was just something normal. After asking a few friends they said it is normal as long as it isnt filling a pad or causing you to cramp badly.

Hun I know your concern. I bled all through my second pregnancy... The whole time but hes now a healthy two yr old.  It could be a number of things. Sex will cause it. Straining during a bowel movement heavy lifti g or excersise. Rhe cervix gets sensitive during pregnancy which causes blood vessels to expand and can cause irritatio...  its actually very normal.
If u experience cramping past the point u cant calm it with heat or a rest call your ob. And if you use more than one pad every two hours go to your er. U can also talk to ur gp and get a hcg count to check the levels...
Thinking of u xx
