Hi... If ur finding it to hard to quit cut back day by day. In a perfect world giving up is your best opition but trust me I know how hard it can be. Keep thinking of bub, not only cause ur pregnant but also when u give birth how dangerous it can be in a smokers home... Talk to ur Dr, see what they can tell u. Xx

Honey, quit any way you can, cold turkey or otherwise.  My sil used hypnosis and it worked (one of those medical programs).  We sometimes get someone writing in claiming their doctor tells them not to quit cold turkey because it would stress them too much.  However, I don't know any non-smoking doctor who would ever say that.  It sounds like either a total self-justifying fib from someone who doesn't want to quit smoking, or a statement from a doctor who smokes.  Smoking is bad for your baby and if you can find the strength to quit and a method that works for you, just quit, do it any way that you can find that works.  Good luck!
