Teen Pregnancy 17 years of age.

Hello, Im 17 years old
and my situation is not making sense to me
my boyfriend literally stuck the head of his penis inside me before I told him to stop and that we should
wait until marriage.
Somehow I got pregnant by that.
im not even sure how.
I doesn't really seem fair but im over that aspect.
I haven't told my mother yet because I know she's going to call me a white and what not and fight me, but i felt like I did what was right, and by chance, I was blessed with a baby.
my question is, how is it possible to get pregnant from pre-*** and how can approach my mom in a reasonable manner

I became pregnant with my daughter when I was 16 so I definitely know what you are going through! It was really hard for me to tell my dad(wasn't raised by my mom) that I was pregnant.  I just picked a time where he was in a good mood and we were alone. Told him that I needed to talk to him about something really important.  He could tell it was something serious right away. I told his I was really scared to say what I needed to say and then just spit it out. I expected screaming and yelling, but instead he was just very disappointed.  But after the initial shock, I was surprised at how completely supportive he was! No matter what you might think your mothers reaction might be, the fact is that she loves you! You will be ok. My daughter is the greatest blessing of my life and I can't imagine my life without her! She is 11 years old now. My life has not been easy, but I still accomplished all of my dreams. Good luck! I hope this helps you!

I'm sorry that you are going through this! You didn't do anything wrong. I don't know any girls your age who aren't having sex. And you even said you wanted to wait til marriage. What are the chances? Unfortunately it is completely possible to get pregnant from what you described. I have a very fertile friend who conceive FOUR children from her boyfriend pre-***. She said there wasn't one time that he ever ejaculated inside her. It was all from before he even pulled out. Now that you are in this situation try to see the positive side. You can definitely still have a great life and give the baby a great life as well. It will be hard, but there is always a way through any tough situation and a light at the end of the tunnel! After this baby comes I would suggest getting on birth control because women are very fertile after just having a baby and you sound more fertile than most! Good luck!! Xoxo

Even if the smallest amount of sperm, gets into the vagina, it can travel up and impregnate you. As you've found out. You're probably extremely fertile at your age and happened to, at your misfortune, messed around on a ovulating day.

If you're 100% sure that you are pregnant(saves the awkward time, if you're not pregnant), you'll want to sit down with your mom and just tell her. Annie gave an awesome explanation but lets face it, it's a lot harder to explain to a mother that you're pregnant, when you're under 18. I definitely know that I wouldn't have told my mother.

Make sure you catch your mom in a good mood (if she seems to be fuming, save it for the next day. To save yourself. My mom was scary when angry). Anyways, I think the best would be to get her completely alone and explain your situation. Can be in the most amount of words or in the least amount. (I don't know your relationship with your mom).
Obviously, you may need some help since money and raising a baby are not easy to wind together.

She may want to help you, fully. Just take a deep breath and relax, expect her to react. It's a touchy topic.

I wish you the best of luck, and hope that she takes it well.

When your boyfriend got the erection he had with you, fluid from his Cowper's Gland would be in his urethra and travel up and out.  It would carry with it any sperm he had in his utethra at that time.  If he had ejaculated recently (and let's face it, guys do), that is where the sperm came from.  It's not impossible to get pregnant from pre-ejaculatory fluid, as you have found out.

How do you tell your mom?  You've got to act the most mature you ever have acted in your life.  You say to her something like the following, and if you don't have stuff to plug in those blanks, think of some that sounds logical given your situation or just tell her you don't know this part yet.  You say, "Mom, I have gotten pregnant from heavy petting; we only had one contact but that was apparently enough.  [Boyfriend] { } does { } does not want to marry me, but he is going to step up and pay child support.  I have worked out that from my job, I will have $___ a month.  This will cover [an apartment? a room in a shared house? helping her pay the rent if you stay at home?] and groceries.  ________ will give me help with childcare when I go back to my job.  [ fill in here about what you intend to do about finishing school -- see if there are any programs you can find out about ].  I intend to go on to college, may have to do it only one class at a time but it can be done.  [Explain your plans for a career here.]"

If you've got none of this, besides "I want to keep the baby and expect you, Mom, to keep paying for me," you're going to get a negative reaction.  But if you look like you've been planning for an adult life, she might take it OK after her first shock.
