Update: gestational surrogacy for best friend. Twins??
(Ugh, I can't seem to post in the "getting to know each other post. It just keeps giving me an error.)
Thank you ladies for your kind words about my gestational surrogacy for my friend. It certainly means a lot!
We went in for blood work and got a call later in the afternoon. The nurse said, "well, you're definitely pregnant! At this point, we'd expect your numbers to be around 100, and yours are at 1,043!"
So, it looks like both of those embryos just might have made it! We'll go in for repeat blood work on the 20th, and have an ultrasound on the 31st., which is when we'll find out for sure how many there are : )
