What to buy?

Hey ladies! I start my 26th week today. What are some things I need to buy? We bought a stroller, car seat, crib, pack n play, rocker, 6 big boxes of diapers,  wipes, and mounds of clothes lol. Am I missing any essentials? My shower is next month, but it isn't going to be real big, so I want to be prepared. Thanks!

Rubbing alcohol and q-tips for cleaning the umbilical cord stump until it falls off, pacifiers, the Nosefreda and some baby saline solution...nothing is worse then listening to your newborn struggling to breathe because their nose is all stuffy!...oh and their tear ducts tend to plug easy so I loved those round cotton makeup pads to clean eye boogers

Maybe a swing, bouncer, monitor, boppy pillow, swaddlers, burp cloths, hangers, baby detergent, dresser, thermometer, rash cream, onsies, changing table,,bath tub, sheets for crib & pack & play, waterproof matress pad, room decor, hands free carrier, baby memory book, first aid kit...I could go on & on...lol

Thanks for the help! And yes lol, the diapers are all different. We have 2 big boxes of each: newborns, 1, 2!

With my first baby I totally forgot to buy towels. Thankfully I received some at my shower. I didn't see that on your list. Hopefully your diapers are not all newborn. Because the baby will be in size one before you know it they grow do fast. Other than that I think your set. You might want to get some gripe water for gas relief also.

You should wait to see what you get at the baby shower theyll probably get things you need .

Well she asked what to buy not when to buy, I was just giving her some suggestions on what to buy seeing as nobody posted about her actual question. One would assume you would wait till after the shower to buy the other needed essentials.

For those small things I'd wait until after your shower just in case.

Thermometer, baby nail clippers, baby lotion/wash, infant tub if your going to use one, burp cloths, bottles, wipes ( I buy the big boxes 700+ wipes that come with travel packs to stick in the diaper bag), diaper bag, diaper rash cream, sleepers, hopefully you have different sizes in the diapers as I agree with previous poster about babies growing fast.

Wow ur way way ahead of me lol everything you bought sounds right except the 6 boxes of diapers are they all the same size?? New borns grow quite fast if thet are all the same size save your receipt

Wow! Y'all are really on top of things. We have a bassinet, crib, newborn clothes, travel system. I'm 28 weeks have one small work shower next week and then my big family shower won't be until June. So what ever we have left we will have to purchase after the shower.
