bad headaches!?!? :( idk what to do.

So I'll be 19 weeks in the days and I'm  on the progesterone shot right now. My high risk doctor told me that the shot may cause headaches. I've always had headaches before my pregnancy and now i have them even more, almost every morning I wake up with a bad head ache. I do not want to take any pills for the headache because it makes me nervous taking any medication while pregnant (besides my prenatal and thyroid pill). Doe do any of you ladies have any other ideas or home remedies to get rid of head aches?!?!... It would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!

I was on the progesterone pill for a little over a month. I had a debilitating headache every single day that I took it. Its just a side effect and I took Tylenol and it didn't help at all really. I had 7 days left of the pills but stopped taking it because of the constant headache.

You can also talk to your Dr. I get really bad migraines and my Dr prescribed firocet for me. As much as I don't like taking medicine, its better than all the vomiting and dizziness that comes with the migraine.

Thank you every one for the comments. And thank you WhovianMomma for that idea. I think I'll try it out to see if it works for me. My progesterone shoot that I get every Friday is what is giving me these head aches so hopefully it works!

I use 3-4 drops of peppermint essential oil in a tablespoon of water, use a cotton ball and rub it along my hairline and over my temples. Works everytime for me

I notice that I start getting them really bad if I haven't eaten for a while or if I am starting to get hungry

Are you diabetic and taking in too much sugar? Are you drinking enough water?
