It is the flu, it's going around here, and symptoms are the same. Some get it worse than others, but i almost never get a high fever (last time was like 16 years ago). The danger with flu is it can lead to infections at the airways (? Not sure how to say this correctly in English lol) I m careful tho: rest a lot, i drink my water with fresh lemon juice, the thyme and eucalyptol desinfect when i damp, ... I slept quite well last night so i feel a lot better than yesterday. Should it get worse, i ll immediately call the doctor (i do that for the least i worry anyway lol) But for now i think positive: i'm giving my boy some good antibodies.

Btw: damping with thyme is awesome: desinfects, thins mucus and sooths. Last night my whole face hurt, but it was gine after damping. And my nose stayed clear till morning this time...

Liske, that sounds a lot more like a cold than the flu. At least I hope it stays that mild. The flu can be deadly to pregnant women so if you get more symptoms like a high fever or body aches you def need to go to the ER. Take care of yourself, mama! <3

I got a cold and I was able to take Robitussin DM, regular Sudafed, cough drops, regular Tylenol, and vitamin C lozenges. I got a list of everything I can take for the problems I get during pregnancy. Finally getting better.

I got the flu a few days ago :( Started with a little cough but now i'm sneezing a lot and i can't breathe through my nose. Luckily my fever isn't very high. But i do feel quite miserable. I'm rinsing my nose with a saline solution an damping with a few drops of eucalypol and thyme in the morning and evening. I woke up every 2-3 hours last night, sneezing my head off. I'm wearing sanitary pads now cause yesterday i had to change underwear after a sneeze attack on my way to the bathroom. Glad to read i'm not the only one who has issues keeping their undies dry while having a cold lol

I've never been one to get sick... until this preg2. If a person is sick near me.. best believe I'm next.  Just left the Er for shortness of breath. .. Dr approved Claritin, robatessin, and i just got affrin and Tylenol.  And I'm tired of peeing on myself

My doctor said any cough medicine is okay as long as there is no codeine in it. So the Tylenol brand of cough syrup would be safe, according to him. Whether or not it actually helps is a whole different story. I went years without having a cough and now I've had two coughs in the last three months. My Nana has been joking about buying me a pack of depends because I've been so worried about peeing myself!

I am on my second upper respiratory infection. I take robitussium DM for the cough, but it hasn't helped. I am so tired of coughing so hard I either pee my pants or I vomit. Not fun either way.

Also, I was told by my Dr that the only thing I could take was tylenol. Pretty sure the other ingredients in tylenol cough and cold are not safe (like pseudoephedrine and dextromethorphan).

I got a list. Nothing really worked to relieve my symptoms. I didn't have a cough, benadryl just made me sleepy, and affrin did nothing. I just hated not being able to take traditional cold relief meds.

I was told anything that says tylenol on it i can take and mucinex. So i took tylenol cold & cough. Also you can buy saline mist, which is just salt water & spray it up ur nose to unclog your nose.
