dizzy spells??

Hey ladies, I'm 20 weeks and as I was at work, I got really hot and really dizzy. I checked my blood sugar and it was fine. I sat down for a few minutes and was fine. Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Well I'm checking my BP regularly too and it's been normal. The reason I checked my sugar is because I'm diabetic and when my sugar dropd I get dizzy too. I have an appt next week. I'll tell my Dr and see what he says.

Same thing here with the dizzy spells, I fainted the other day and had my boyfriend not been there to catch me I would've fell face first into cement. I'm drinking more water and taking my prenatals regularly, I still have to be careful though. I live in Las Vegas and I'll be pregnant all throughout the summer so that worries me and my fainting spells.

I very likely has nothing to do with your blood sugar but everything to do with low blood pressure. Ive had that in every pregnancy!

This has happened to me a couple of times too. Just this week I was in a school assembly, as I'm a teacher, and I had to rush out as I felt like I was going to faint. I did faint about 5 weeks ago now when out shopping. I'm sure that it's hormone related as I get other symptoms when I feel that way. Hopefully it will stop soon.

It happens to me a lot too. Sometimes I'm standing, sometimes I'm sitting. It is a little scary b/c I didn't experience this with my first pregnancy at all.

@babylove815, mine always occur when standing in one spot too long. It's weird. This never happened with my first pregnancy, although there are a lot of things happening with this one that never happened with the first one.
