I honestly wouldn't take anything doctors prescribe, not all doctors are in your best interest. Doctors do get a profit from every medicine they're able to prescribe!
My doc said it was basically the first trimester they're more concerned bout.
Yes I would stop taking it a huge lawsuit is against them and they've never been approved by the FDA. I purchased "Prego pops" can find them at babies r us, target, Walmart. They're actually miracle workers and very decent price!!!
I was prescribed something called cyclazine in th UK which is fab. Mention it to your drs x
I don't think certain birth defects will show up in the ultrasound, so all the people saying that their baby looks fine, doesn't guarantee that their baby is free from birth defects. My doctor told me to take vitamin B6 with unisom at night everyday for nausea. They suggested to take Zofran if taking that first didn't help
I opted for Diclegis, a category B, and it's worked great for my morning sickness! Try it?
And so far all my ultrasounds have been perfectly normal! My baby girl is healthy. :)
I'm 23 weeks and cannot go without mine (zofran) for more than a day.. I talked to more than 1 Dr. And they both said it is harmless.. Like another blancaboo said they would not give it to us if they thought it to be harmful.
I would ask for something else because of all the possible birth defects
Ive been taking zofran also I wouldn't believe our doctor's would give us that if it causes such things. There are other pills for nausea you can ask for. I'm at 22 weeks and so far from the ultrasounds I have had my little guy is just fine.
I would try to stop taking it what you heard is True I was given the medication and stopped taking it after the first pill
ironic that under your question the Zofran lawsuit ad is there... I personally wouldn't take it because of the birth defect thing. but five also only get nauseous & don't puke. I would tell my doctor I'm not comfortable taking it & ask if there is something else to take
