My period was due on 9th november.i have irregular periods.i hd unprotected sex with my partner on 12th november. I am still due for my periods.i am not planning pregnancy now.what are my chances of getting pregnant due to my negligency on 12th?
How irregular are your periods? If they are very irregular (like weeks different each time), you could still be in the range to have ovulated around the 12th. Since it has been 8 days since the unprotected sex, it's unfortunately a bit early to test, but also a bit early to worry, given that your periods are irregular. If you get to 14 days since the unprotected sex, then take a test.
Thank you for answering my querry.my periods r very irregular.sometimes it delays by a wk and sometimee even 2wks to 20 days.and at times it happens on due date.i am so worried.could u suggest me some pregnancy test methods that can be tried at home?
Most drugstores or chemists will carry a home pregnancy test. It is pretty simple to use, the instructions are clear. If you cannot find one, your doctor could do a pregnancy test for you, but if it is a urine-based test, be sure to use first-morning urine so it is concentrated.
