Contractions and Dialation

So Im almost 38 wks and i have been feeling a lot of pressure and contractions that i cant walk through or talk through for the past week and i went to get checked yesterday and i havent even started to dialate yet. Could these contractions be b/h?

I've had them over the past 3 days too......Especially the pressure that feels like a knife stabbing me in the cervix!  Takes my breath away...I had my appt, today and although my office does not check dilation or effacement until contractions are regular......they said this pain is normal!  UGH!  I hate the waiting game!Q

yes doll they can!! lol.,..you havent been reading my post have you!! hehehe i have been like this for ages now...and back and forth to hospital and guess what!! STILL NO BABY!! lol...we just have to wait.,.i tired the nipple stimulation this morning!! Seeing how well this is going to work!! Good luck though! Keep us posted!
