I think your levels are great at 5 weeks mine were only at 250 and the doctor told me it was fine as everyone is different and as long as they are increasing at a good pace they are as they should be, I am only 7 weeks now and I never realised pregancy was so terrifying with the worry of something happening,
I would be happy with your levels if it were me. Levels high or low doesn't really mean anything low level babies are born perfectly all the and some hgher level pregancy don't. I say as long as they're rising it is going how it should. But that just my opinion i'm no expert on it altho I have just waffles on for ages!!!!!!!!! lol
the problem with the hcg is there is such a HUGE range of numbers. I dont think your numbers look bad but I am not a doctor!
And yes at 4-5 weeks all you would probably see is a little blob. I saw a yolk sac on my scan at 5 wks3 days and a little blob with a flickering heartbeat at 6 wks 2days.
Had my u/s today and it wasnt what they say as helpfull??? there is a small round blob as she put it that wasn't there last week, but there not saying it a gestation sac?? i thought that what a little round blob ment??? am i wrong??? it's only measuring in at 6.6mm very tiny i know, but hopefully i'll see something bigger next week booked in for another u/s on the 8th @10am.. let's hope it's more positive!!!
I personaly dont understand the hcg level tabel's they just dont make sence to me (lol)
thank you xx will keep updated
I found these numbers on hcg that i previously posted. If you are 5 weeks your numbers look fine. How many days apart are you getting your hcg tested. If it is 2-3 days its fine because it seems to be doubling. I hope this helps.
3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml
I am wondering if your Hcg levels are too high and that is why they are concerned. Good luck with you u/s this afternoon. You will have your answers then and i hope it turns out out well.
