I had my baby on 12/22

So Monday morning around 2 am i was having painful contractions but nothing that was consistent enough so i waited it out until they were finally 6 mins apart around 1:30 pm.  Got to the hospital at 2:00 pm and i was four cm dilated and having contractions every 2-3 mins apart.  I got in the shower and once i got out the doc. came in and checked me at around 4:15 pm and i was an 8 cm.  So she broke my water and i began pushing at around 4:45 pm and had Berlin at 5:29 pm.  He weighs 9 lbs. 10.9 oz. and is 22 inches long.  I tore real bad so after they got the placenta out they gave him to daddy and stiched me up.  I then got really light headed so they had to check my blood pressure and it was so low so they hooked me up to all these IV's and everything and finally it started to come back up.  But my hemoglobin was so low that i had to stay in the hospital until today!  I had a 3rd degree tear and lots of blood loss.  Im doing much better today and we are finally getting discharged as we speak!  It was a rough labor and delivery but worth every penny to see the beautiful face of my baby boy!

awwww congratulations! Berlin was one big baby!!!  You were such a little thing too I am surprised you were able to birth that big of a baby!

What a great Christmas present for you! I am so happy for you and your family!

Its amazing how quickly we forget all the pain of childbirth for our wonderful little men, isnt it. I cant wait to see pictures when you get some free time.
