Also, when I'm laying down, trying to get comfy, my thighs hurt like hell! It's like I've been running a 5k marathon! I'm pretty sure she's dropped though, and that's what attributing to the pelvis pressure.

I get a lot of pressure in my crotch area when I'm standing up from sitting on the toilet. Any advice on that? I'll be 33 weeks on Sunday.

i started getting pain/pressure in the pelvic area at 30 weeks. it helped lying down. called the doctor and they suggested buying a maternity belt to keep the belly higher. some days are better than others but the belt seems to help.

I don't have pelvic pressure that bad and I am 33 weeks today.  If it keeps up maybe just call the doctor and make sure.  I am sorry it hurts you that bad...maybe your farther along or the baby dropped :)

I know you didn't ask but I am getting the H1N1 vaccine as soon as it is offered to me.  I am really nervous about catching the H1N1 flu.  I also want my baby to have immunity to the virus when she gets here.  I agree with Heather 110 percent.

I hope the pressure goes away for you!  Let us know how your visit goes Friday!

I've been having the same concerns...but I'll probably get it. It seems like the medical community is pretty much unanimous in recommending the vaccine for pregnant women, especially since we're among the 6% of the populations that could get serious complications should we contract the virus. Plus I had a looong talk with my obgyn about it last time, and he highly recommends it, saying that the risks associated with H1N1 far outweighs any potential side effects from the vaccine. Plus, it helps pass some of the immunity over to the baby, who cannot get any flu vaccines until at least 6 months old. So I'll probably get the vaccine....but it still makes me a little nervous.

I was wondering the same thing!  I dont know if i want to get the vaccine, cuz do they really know if it has any effects on a fetus?  I'm worried about it.  But i'm also worried about getting H1N1 flu!  so pretty much stuck between a rock and a hard place.  lol

what are your thoughts about the vaccine?

Oh, I see. Yeah, that does make it a bit harder. Maybe just try to ignore some of the housework for now then until you see your doctor on Friday. But I'm sure your freidns are right and that it's normal at this stage of pregnancy.

I have my next appointment on Friday, too. I wonder if my obgyn will ask me to take the H1N1 vaccine then...

Unfortunately the baby daddy isnt involved at this point so its kinda hard to stay off of my feet with work and housework and all.
I have my scheduled prental on Friday so i will talk to my doctor about it then because everyone i talk to seems to think its normal and I think baby has dropped so i guess i will see on friday!

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with this...at least not yet. I'm about a month behind you, though, so it might be coming! However, I have been getting this weird pressure on the sides of my pubic area (kinda where it meets the thighs) since early on in my pregnancy...but I think that's caused by enlarged veins (yay...fun!). It's especially bad in the morning, but then it gets better once I've been up for a while.

Have you talked to your doctor about this yet? Or one of the nurses? If not, I would probably call in and at least let them know about it. Until then...try to stay off your feet, I guess. Good excuse to get your DH to do all the housework!!!

:-)
