Just now I ot my report and my hcg is 912, little less than what dr was expecting...if it doubled, it shoudl ahve been 928. dr asked me to come again tomorrow 17th since the ocunt is not doubled. I am happy that atleast count is increasing but the waiting part is killing me. thanks for your time and support. All these answers are helping me be positive.

Actually your hcg level is not low at all, mine started @ 17 and went to 67 over 4 days with a low progesterone of 8.1.  But what mikaleen said regarding one reading is true, it's not so much what the number is, but that it is doubling or more every 2 days or so.  Good luck.

Actually, that level isn't THAT low! Mine started out at a level of 11. And that rose up to 37. It slowly has risen up and is now over 14000.

My normal cycle is 30 days. I wasnt planning to get pregnant so I did not rememeber my last period exactly it could be wither 9th or 10th. I was on Chlomid for one month in Feb and couldnt become pregnant then I stopped using chlomid wanted to take a break for 3 months and start using chlomid again from june/july. All of a sudden I missed my periods and got positive result . And now there is this hcg level thing and I have to wait till tomorrow to know if i am pregnant. This is my second pregnancy , had a loss in 2008 in my 21st week. What queetions should I ask my nurse next time i talk to her.

Do you have normal cycles?  How long are they?  What range your HCG would be expected to be in would depend on when in your cycle you ovulate.  Going by your last period the HCG seems low, but the progesterone is great.  If you have normally longer cycles then you could be right on with the HCG.  It's very hard to say with one reading, as the actual numerical value isn't as important as the rise in levels.  After your draw tomorrow you should have a much better idea of how far along you are and if your levels are rising appropriately.  Good luck!
