I'm 14 weeks 5 days and I swear I felt it move this morning. I know it wasnt gas cuz when I have gas i HAVE GAS. This time I was sitting there and it was a different feeling like a little flutter. Also it was exactly in the spot the baby is. I know this cuz I have a fetal doppler and listen to the heartbeat and I know the exact spot.
Of course it probably won't be constant for a few weeks. I can't wait.
I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow...and as I posted I was pretty sure I felt it around 15 weeks but I haven't really felt anything lately...which of course makes me nervous! I have an appointment in two weeks....it's going to be a LONG two weeks! ugh....come on, little one...squirm!
Flutter is a great way to explain how a baby movement would feel from the inside.. it is like you get butterflies. Some people can feel the baby this early and others have to wait till 20+ weeks.
My baby is up by my belly button already and I know I have felt him/her move. Between the u/s we just had and the orneryness he or she is displaying- this little one is going to be a mover!!
Good luck girl!!
I'm 14w2d and I've been feeling something that feels like weird muscle spasms right by my belly button, it's like a flutter and it's real quick an then it goes away an I may not have another for several hours or the next day. It's not consistant. But this is my first baby, so I'm confused about what it is.
I am only 13+ weeks and I too swear I have felt slight movements.. This is my second baby and he/she is already sitting up by my belly button. We went for my regular check up on Friday and the nurses couldnt catch the heartbeat... well they were looking too low, by my pelvic bone and he/she was very high- I knew he/she was moving I could just tell. My son did the same thing to the Dr's last time.
I would not be surprised if soon I feel them a ton more!!
Im 13 weeks today and pretty sure i have felt the baby move already, it definatly didnt feel like gas, it was quite hard to describe ..... like a little fish darting about for a second but also like a muscle spasm its really weird, but amazing!!!
I feel it randomly throughout the day. I'm 15 weeks now, and feel it about once or twice a day, maybe more some days. I know it's definitely the baby, as with DS I felt the same things, and I know it's not gas because if it was sooner or later it would come out, and nothing.
I TOTALLY agree. I've been feeling mine now since 14.5 weeks and I know its the baby. I think the baby has his/her feet on my left side because I always feel it in the same spot. Popping/muscle spasm type feeling that is stronger immediately after I eat.
I have a pretty good size bump already and DH swears he can hear the heartbeat when he lays with his head on my tummy. Its not mine because it is to fast. ????
i THINK i have felt fluttering a few times. Not very many, and only from baby B(left side). It was really exciting and i look forward to more and more :)
My husband Brian rubs my belly every night and tries to feel movement, and gets sad that he cant yet, i tell him it is just way to early !
I agree! Before 30 weeks if so cute and adorable, and after it just starts to get more and more uncomfortable, and PAINFUL sometimes!!!
I'm definitely 100% against the two midwives, when I was pregnant with my son I definitely felt him moving, at 14 weeks. I KNOW I felt my son this early, it's not like a gas bubble at all, it's more like a little spasm feeling...with this baby it's always around the exact same spot. You may not feel CONSISTENT movement until after the 20th week, but on average it's between 15-22 weeks. Even if you look up pregnancy week by week, most sites will tell you it's possibly the baby not just gas. When you are looking to feel every movement, or every twitch you notice things a lot more, and you'll be able to tell the difference between gas and baby. Since this is my second pregnancy, granted it was 20 months later that I got pregnant again, but I do remember what to look for as far as feeling movement for the first time, and it's definitely not just gas or stretching.
I asked about this as im cummin 14weeks and i was told by 2 midwifes that u cant feel the baby move untill round about 20weeks and if its ur 2nd pregnancy ur more likely to feel it before that but i was feeling the same and its just the womb streching if ur like me everytime u feel somefin u pray that its the baby coz ur so excited and really wanna feel everything just enjoy it while u can coz soon enuff ur goin to have a lil footballer inside u kickin away ALL the time lol xxx
14 weeks and felt the baby today. This is our third. The first movements feel like gas bubbles, but more. They are usually pretty low too as your uterus hasn't moved into your abdomen yet. Oh what is to come, I love the movements before 30 weeks, but as they start to run out of room, it just feels/looks crazy.
I cant wait. Im only at 11 weeks now so its just streching but im so anxious to feel it move!
I am 15 weeks and 3 days now...this is my first pregnancy. For the past couple nights I think I may have felt something. Kinda just a weird little sensation...happens mostly in the evenings when I sit down on the recliner with my feet up...lol. I am a bigger girl though and have read that sometimes it takes longer for us....but I think it just may be my little monkey! Very cool! Can't wait till hubby can feel it too! :)
This will be my third child, 5th pregnancy and I've felt a few movements every now and then, mostly rolling.
oh the hiccups...! Phin had the hiccups all the time in the last 2 months, it drove me a bit bonkers near the end.
This is my first pregnancy and I felt the baby move for the first time at 14 weeks, 2 days. I love the feeling, it's so sweet! I CANNOT wait to feel the baby's hiccups!
I think maybe but i don't know.
I am almost 16 weeks and this is the second pregnancy for me. I have been feeling movement for a couple weeks now but nothing like what I know is to come!
i'm only 12 weeks and i've felt things today i am not sure if it's just stretching or the baby moving....
can't wait until the baby is big enough that i can feel individual movements :)
