I was 6w2d with my 1st ultrasound and saw and heard the heartbeat. It was a vaginal US, I don't know if that makes a difference. When I went in though, the US tech told me not to be worried if we didn't see a HB yet though, so it possible not to see it and everything still be ok. It's still early yet.
Good luck and keep us posted.

i was able to see heartbeats at 6 weeks...but not hear it. they told me u usually cant hear it until 11 weeks. and like connorethansmom said...sometimes you dont "see" it as early as 6-7 weeks, my RE told me not to worry if i dont, sometimes it is just too early

With my first we didn't see it until I was after 7 weeks, so if you don't - don't freak out.  With my daughter I didn't get an unltrasound until almost 9 weeks.   This time I will be closer to 9 weeks again.  Glad your betas are going up!
