Still here just not as often guess that happens when you are introduced to motherhood lol!! Well Aiden is doing great he was 8 weeks on Friday and will be two months on the 24th I am telling u time is flying by. When we were waiting their arrivals it seem as if timed stood still but now I could wish it to stand still and it flies right on by trying to take in every moment with my lil man. Well he is getting big and changes so much every day he has his 2 month doc apt with shots on thursday so not looking forward to it but it had to be done I am sure mom and dad will both cry along with aiden lol other then that we breast fed for three weeks and i was so afraid he was not gettiing enough so I switched to formula and we had to switch it a few times but he is now on gentle ease and seems to be doing great. So all is going good here growing and loving the smiles and laughs he brings to our lives . So glad to hear everyones updates hope everyone continues to keep updating until next time

I never got her to latch fully. I got lucky that one day or 2 and then she rejected the breast again. So my dr gave me domperigon to increase my breast milk and it's now back up and I can get 10oz per pump. So now i'm at full breastmilk again. But she's being very fussy sometimes collicy in the last 2-3 days I donno what's going on.

I'm here too, just not as often as before!  Congrats to everyone!  My little one was 12 weeks on Friday and is now on formula only.  I was doing 1/2 breast milk and 1/2 formula up tothis point but decided it was time for me to transition her since I started back to work on Thursday and didn't want to pump while working.

That would be great to share your recipes as our LO's get older. Lexi also has a cow's milk and soy protein allergy and is on Alimentum now. Hopefully our babies will outgrow their allergies!

I'm still here too. We are breast feeding exclusively and Isabelle is doing great. She started sleeping through the night about a week ago. She'll go to bed at 9:30 and will wake to feed at about 4:30-5:00 and sleep for one or two more hours. I'm normally up at 6:30 to get my others up and ready for school so I really can't complain.
Isabelle is 9bls 14oz and 21.5 inches long now (she was 6bls8oz and 19 oz at birth -Dec.6).
So far it doesn't look like she has the allergies that her siblings had but we didn't see them in the others until 5 months or so, so we are keeping our fingers crossed. Two of my other children were allergic to milk and one of them is still allergic to milk protien, egg, fish bananas, nuts and latex. I know some great milk free, egg free, nut free recieps for b-day cakes, muffins and treats for when you little one is older WannaBMamma if your little girl doesn't out grow the allergy. (One of my children did out grow the allergy, she is now 8 and doing great.)

I'm still here.. Breast feeding and bm/bottle fed as exclusive as we can but on occasion we have to give her 2-6oz of formula in a day, but thats it. Taking fenugreek 4pills 4x/day and also More Milk Special Blend (it's a liquid that taste like hell, but has fenugreek, goats rue, blessed thistle and more). I have noticed an increase, but also an increase in pain when she first latches on. Only recently in the last few days did we learn how to get MarLea to latch w/o the nipple shield.

She is a precious blessing and we're learning more and more about her each day. Still working on whether or not she can hear.. but all other tests (brain u/s, kidney u/s, heart u/s, genetic testing, etc.) have came back normal/healthy.

We just had her 1 month check up today and I can not believe it- she is 9lbs (from 7-15 at birth). We're doing great!!

Good luck to others getting more sleep. She usually sleeps from 9p-1 or 2, then not awake again until 6.. still working on it though!

Hello everyone. The twins are doing great! They just turned 3 1/2 months and David is almost 12 lbs and Reina is 9 lbs. Everything is going well and sleep is getting better they can go for about 5 to 5 1/2 hrs at a time at night. Can't wait until its 8 or 9 hours. I am still at home and will be going back to teaching in April. Having twins is CRAZY and rewarding too. We get stopped everywhere so people can see them.

Hi Ladies!  I know I haven't been on in ages. Sorry about that. The "Oey Twins" are doing great. Unfortunetely I was not able to breast feed them as I did not get much milk (1oz each time I pumped). I did go to a LC and still nothing. Girls are now strictly formula fed. One twin is on Enfamil Newborn since that's what the hospital started her with. The other we had to change it to Nutregemen since she had projectile vomiting and diareah. It seems she's allergic to the milk proteins. Other than that they are doing great. Nit fussy and only cry when they want to be fed or changed. I dont go back to work until 3/15. Hope everyone is doing well. I will post more frequently.

Hey! I quit bf'ing around 2w pp and now we're 7w pp and I'm relactating. I'm taking reglan and domperidone that my midwife gave me. Also I'm taking 3 fenugreek 3x a day and blessed thistle 3/3x a day. I also drink two cups of mother's milk tea when I take all of the fenugreek bc it has some in it as well. While I was out of the fenugreek, I drank 3-4 cups and I've noticed that my supply is increasing. Good luck!

I am back. Have been struggling with breastfeeding. I never got my full milk so we've had to supplement with formula. It's been very difficult, both emotionally (because I wanted to breastfeed exclusively) and physically (breastfeeding and pumping constantly to stimulate my meager supply, doing bottles, etc). I have been working closely with lactation consultants and my doctors. I am on Reglan to help stimulate milk, but it appears I will never have a full supply. Otherwise, I have a fabulous baby and I love being home with her. I plan to return to work in late May and I'm already dreading it!

:o) Yeah, when I named my other daughter in 2006 Alexis/Lexi was the other name I was trying to choose between so when I found out I'd be blessed with another daughter I had the name picked out :oD. I think Lexi is an adorable name. One of my former drama students a few years ago was named Lexi and that sealed the deal lol.

You have a Lexi too? That's so awesome!!! The day I delivered the lady across the hall named her baby Lexi as well. I thought Lexi was unique an you don't hear about too many Lexi's. Well, I didn't until I had her and signed the birth certificate.

Still here :o) And still exclusively bfing. Alexis (Lexi) doesn't seem anywhere near sleeping through the night either :o( Awake every two hours to eat on average. Some nights she has those "wide awake" periods in the middle of the night, too, and those are the hardest lol. She also is on antibiotics for an ear infection, poor baby. But aside from the congestion she seems to be feeling alright. Glad to see everyonr here is doing well!

I'm still here too and also going strong on the breastfeeding front. We introduced the bottle today and thankfully she didn't mind it. My baby girl doesn't seem anywhere near sleeping through the night. The most she's gone between feedings is 4 hours and it happens rarely. She mostly eats every 3 hours. Oh well, sleep is overrated anyway :)

i'm still here.  still exclusively breastfeeding and actually sleeping pretty well since she sleeps with us in bed and i can sleep and nurse at the same time :)
headed back to work this weekend ...managed to pump and store 14 bottles worth of milk for daddy to feed her.  looking forward to seeing how exhausted he is after 12+ hours of baby duty when he realizes that i don't just sit on the couch and watch tv and "play" with the baby all day....
she's growing like a weed and learning new sounds and facial expressions every day.
hard to believe she's almost a month old...

We've switched formulas as well due to Lexi projectile vomiting. I make sure to feed her at 10 then midnight and she'll sleep til 5 or 6. My ped has me feeding her every 2-3 hours during the day an shes pretty much used to that schedule now. I wonder if she will eat more an go longer between feeds or whats going to happen.

Also we had to change the babies formula since the one she was on made her spit up so much. They gave her a formula with added rice, did not even know a formula like the was around.

I'm here still. Very tired but here, I know i should not be tired since my little Kathryn sleeps from 10pm till 4am now. But at 4am she will not go back to sleep for at least an hour or two, she is wide awake. Which makes for an interesting morning since I have to get my son up at 7am for school.
