nausea just hit me very hard last half a day, i'm 8w2d

So my question is does anyone else have nausea kick in so late in the pregnancy

Mine started about a week ago.  I'm 10 weeks now.  I've been nauseated all day and throwing up morning, noon, and night.  About 3-4 times a day.  I'm so miserable.  I've been thinking about calling the doctor about it because it seems so all of the sudden and I never had it with my first two pregnancies.

It really depends how (and how early) your body reacts to the hormones increase.Don't forget that hormones double up every 2 days. Some people will feel nausea only later on because up to a certain point, their body adjusts fine, some people will never feel nausea. No worries to have at this point. It is actually a good sign and having nausea usually means lowering risk of miscarring, it also means that our hormones are increasing normally. What would be a bit worrying is when nausea remains after week 12. Can't wait to get there lol!

well it sounds like there are so many different answers for when people started having nausea, last night my husband took me out for mother's day, chinese food, my favorite. I ate about two bites and just sat there the rest of the time, I felt so bad about it but he said well you can't help it and that was it. Now we have left overs so I can try eating it again.

Mine started before I got a BFP.  Ugh, it's been miserable.  I've lost 8 pounds now am loosing about 1 pound a week and am on meds.  I hate this feeling of sick all the time.  I have two little ones too, so it's hard to keep up with them when I feel so sick.

MIne has been very weird. I have been kinda nauseous since about 6 weeks, nothing terrible and I never threw up, it just came in waves. Then on Saturday, as I was taking my last bite of a salad, it hit me hard! I threw up and now I'm not really nauseous, except for the 5 minutes when I decide to throw up! Luckily, I'm holding most of my food down so I'm not loosing weight. I'm 10w tomorrow! I was hoping to get by pretty easy but I guess not!

mine is just starting as well and im also 8 weeks and 2days mornings are the worse for me though!

Mine kicked in around 6 weeks, and got much worse at 8 weeks.

I think mine was near 8 weeks but now that its hitting less often its hitting harder.  I think I almost blacked out the other day... but at least I can eat 'some' foods.
