Conception

Hi! Please don't judge me. Im 30 weeks and 5 days :) I'm so excited to be pregnant but I'm so nervous at the same time. If someone could help me ease my mind a little it would be greatly appreciate. My lmp was march 6th and missed my period in April. May 5th I went to the doctors and had an ultrasound saying I was 8 weeks and 3 days. My question is is there any possible way I could have conceived on feb. 22.? My doctor is more than convinced that I conceived at the end of March and that there is no way I could have in feb. Can there be anyway she could be wrong.

Dex, you had a period well after February 22: pregnant ladies don't have their period.  Your doctor measured the actual baby and told you from those measurements that you conceived in late March.  Your August 5 ultrasound put you at 8 weeks 3 days from first day of your last period, and lo and behold, it was almost exactly correct (your first day of your last period being 8 weeks and 4 days prior to the ultrasound).  A conception calculator gives the following for the due date of December 14 that you were given by your doctor:

Probable date of ovulation:  March 23
Possible dates of conception:  March 19 to 27
Due date:  December 14 (40 weeks)

None of this suggests you conceived in February.
