Baby Shower?

How soon is too soon to have a baby shower? I'm 18 weeks and due Dec.14.

I want to have the baby shower at the end of August but my friend who is also  pregnant thinks that is too soon. She is also due in December. She will have her baby shower late October/early November.

I really don't want to wait that long because of the cold weather.  I plan to kick everyone outside for the baby shower if the weather plays nice.

Is it too early though?

i would think Oct is early enough.  you don't want summer clothes for a winter baby.

I'm due the 16th of December.  My baby shower will be October 5th as well :)

Im due xmas eve and my baby shower is oct 5. So im doing it fairly early as well. Due to cold weather. And due to the fact that i dont want to be so huge and uncomfortable :)
