Do hospitals induced you on 40th week if you want to get induced???.

Where I live they don't let you go past 41 weeks so they set you a date to be induced once you turn 40 weeks, so they give you a week to go into labor and induce you on the 41st week.

Nope, not just because you're tired of waiting; most providers won't induce unless you're 42 weeks.

With my 1st one they wouldn't schedule induction until I was 10 days past due. Luckily I didnt need it and was only 2 days late.

It depends on your dr i think. Here you can't get induced on demand unless there are health risks or you're nearing the 42nd week.
