Scan

Hi all I had a scan today whiched showed that I was 5-5.5 weeks it showed a clear yolk sac and that was all. Is this normal? I had a miscarriage 3 months ago so I'm really worried. I've had slight spotting over the last few days. The sonographer was really positive and the dr we spoke to told me I was going to have a miscarriage. Has anyone had an early scan around this many weeks. If you did what did you see?

They did an internal scan but I went back today and finally saw the baby! Lol and also when I did the internal scan last week my fiancé wanted to come in with me but they said he couldn't. Has this happened to you?

Hi I'm sure you will be fine. Just so you know it can happen I went back for my scan yesterday and saw a heart beat so it can happen after a miscarriage. I'm sure all will be ok with you the sac is so tiny at 5 weeks it must be really hard to see. Also did you have an internal scan or external? Xx

I recently had a miscarriage a few months ago. Today I went for my first sonogram they said I was 5 weeks but they couldn't see no baby just an empty sac. They were positive as well and said that it's sill early to come back in a week or so. Hope everything works out with you just stay positive I'm sure everything is fine :)

I miscarried  3 months ago, too...so I am also very on edge and nervous.  This is my 5th pregnancy.  I have 3 living children.

Im so sorry to hear about what happened 3 months ago :( An im sure its normal to be worried after something like that happened. N yes prove that Dr. Wrong . An so far its going good way different than my first 2, An Im freaking out as well about certain things can't wait til my 1st appt next wk :)  Wishing you nd your baby the best of luck <3

Yeah I'm feeling more positive than my last pregnancy I'm just worried because I only had a miscarriage 3 months ago. I hope I can prove that mean dr wrong! Hope your pregnancy is going well so far x

Hi, when i was pregnant with my first son, i freaked out and rushed to.the ER to see if my baby was ok  because i had been drinking and was super worried. When i got there they ran tests and confirmed i was pregnant but couldn't even find the yolk sac no heart beat nothing. They told ne i was prolly still to early to see that. I went back for a follow up few weeks later and there my baby was heart beat and everything he is now 4 and very healthy. I think you will be ok. Its normal too worry and freak out im almost 8 weeks now n i still freak out like i did with my first 1! An it is normal to spot a lil bit from time to time just keep your faith :) some girls have a period still and are pregnant every pregnancy is different
