I read on here a while ago someone did and she nearly lost her baby, so its worry the wait !! Its going to be withing the next few weeks use that time to spend with your husband, partner or boyfriend or just time to make sure the house is extra clean, lost of food in the fridge and even a few prept frozen melas for the first few days

With my last child my water leaked slowly the last two months an Dr nor I knew about it when it was time to give birth they went to break my water an there was none but baby came out fine but they say if water breaks baby has to be delivered within 24hrs or infections can happen I think it's mostly because with no water they can swallow more of there bowels an get really sick

I would only let my health provider do it if safe. It's not something I'd attempt at home on my own.

With my first,  waters broke spontaneously in the middle of the night at 36.5. They told me to come in straight away and they monitored for any issues. I think that baby is fine for up to 24h after water breaks...? That's what I've been told but I'm not medically trained. :)

I don't know that it's possible, and I don't think it's a good idea. I've heard from my child birth class instructor that women who go into labor w broken water are at increased risk for infection to mom and baby. Better to go into labor and have the bag break in the later stages of labor.
