curious 38weeks today

Hey I'm 38 weeks and this my first pregnancy I've been feeling pressure between my legs for about two weeks now and right where my pelvic area is do anyone know if there contractions or not and my second question is how do I know I dilated or not this pressure between my legs hurts really bad someone please tell me what it is

im 38 weeks today aswell :) my boy feels like tht at midwife said hes just getting ready. i also have been checked to see if iv dilated but have an appointment on fri with the midwife so going to ask.

Well the pressure could mean that your baby has dropped into your pelvis, this is normal its called lightening. And to answer your second question, your doc or midwife will probably check you to see if you have dilated. Good luck and well wishes with your pregnancy.
