Contractions?

So I'm 38 weeks +6 days and I've been having contractions for about 60 - 70 seconds and about 7 minutes apart. This started since 12 am but I'm not sure if I should go to the hospital or wait a bit longer.

I would until they are consistent and at least 5 minutes a part. Wish my body was doing something to urge my boy out lol. I'm so ready and don't want hik born on Christmas. His due date is the 26th.

Yup wait it out. Same thing happened to me last week. I was having contractions 7-8 minutes apart for 3 hours and then they started getting further apart. Later that evening they started again. I went to the hospital and they told me I was only 2-3 dilated and the contractions began to taper off and sent me home. I got my hopes up. I'm due on Christmas day,but looking to get induced hopefully next week

Well I'm 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced but they seem to get 10 mins apart now so I think I'll wait a bit longer

They may keep you and they may not depending on how dilated you are and effaced you are. I would call and just ask or try and wait it out until at least 5 minutes a part.
