Gallstones?

Anyone ever had gallstones in pregnancy? What did your doctor do other than change your diet? Did you have to have the surgery after delivery? I'm on a low fat diet and I did an H. Pylori test this week and get an u/s next week for my gallbladder. I've never had problems like this before.

I went to the ER in pain that ended up lasting over 7 hours. Tada gallstone attack and they couldn't do anything for it. So no more fried anything. Saw my OB 2 weeks after, he referred me to a surgeon. As he said it's the perfect time window (2nd trimester) to get it removed.

It's my second baby and I still have one. Doctors was scared me, that I'll be sick all the time, that my heartburn going to be worse  (before firts baby only vicodin helps). But all was good, I just watch that I'm eating and after delivery I never had any pain for 2 years..for me it's usually 1 tbl sp of olive oil before meal if you going to have something grease, spicy ect and it's works!!

I personally did not have gallstones during pregnancy, well not yet anyways.  But, a friend of mine did.  She suffered so bad from it and was sick every single day of her pregnancy.  However, they couldn't do anything about it until after the baby was here.  While she was in the hospital, they went in and took the gall bladder out.  Good luck!
