you can find out at 14 weeks I had a ultrasound to check my gallbladder out to see if that was making me so sick and the dr told me that we could have found out if the baby was cooperating. I now have to wait until Oct 1st and I know its going to kill me.

I know they have places in some malls that will do ultrasounds for like 60$ from 12 weeks on if you want to find out early, I have two more weeks to wait to find out, I think I am going to save my money for now, but it is SOOOO tempting!

I find out on the 15th if the baby co-operates with us. Looking at the results I am hopeful its a girl. That was my initial gut feeling, but lately my instinct tells me boy.
Time will tell.

2010 is starting to look like the year of the girl LOL!! Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that certain years seems that everyone is pg with girls, and others it seems that their are more boys!! I know when my daughter was born in 97 EVERYONE I knew was having girls! And when my son was born in 08 I knew quite a few other women who had boys!!
I have quite a few more weeks till we find out (if we decide to, originally I didn't want to know, but know I'm thinking that maybe I would like to find out)...
This is so exciting to see everyone getting further along in their pregnancies!!! I remember when we were all just finding out that we were pregnant!!

Some men just know! My husband was 100% sure it was girl when we were pregnant last year..and he was right. Right now..he said he is thinking girl...but cant be sure yet. he will let me know before we go to find out...we will see. He knew I was preggo before I did......I think they have some sort of sense of these thigns!

Add my name to the BOY list!  We found out at my 18 wk appointment today!  The tech said she was 99.9% sure... and she circled the little penis on the ultrasound.  We had a long discussion today about whether or not to post what we call "the boy parts photo" on facebook... decided that people would just have to trust us. :)

Everything else looked good too, except my placenta was a little low (which could be b/c I am 18 wks instead of 20) and they couldn't get a good look at his lower face to check lip and palette.  So that means we'll have to have another u/s in 10 weeks... oh darn! :)

Well the scan went great. The baby is measuring right on schedule.  Heartbeat was 142 which she said was wonderful and we got to hear it. It was amazing.  However, the baby was breeched so we were not able to see much.  She had to do an internal ultrasound as well, so we were able to sort of make out a the gender, which she marked as GIRL.  Then all of a sudden the machine went down and by the time she got it back up and running the baby had moved and did not look like a girl!  Of course!!!  lol  So she really did not make a solid decision, but she is leaning toward girl.  We are too.  I am hopefully going back in few weeks to get another one.  I will keep you all posted!!!  The suspense is killing me, but right now we are going with girl!

Here is an update.....I went for an updated ultrasound yesterday to see if the baby had moved so we could get a better shot.  NO GO!!!  That little stinker is still in the same position it was two weeks ago.  The sonographer is still leaning toward girl, but cannot go on record to say for sure. Unfortuantely my next ultrasound is not until Thanksgiving time so I guess we will not have confirmed info until then.  So I guess you can leave me at girl, but I will have to verify in November!  This kid is going to be stubborn just like their mommy, I see! As my father would say, KARMA!!!
