Baby's Behaviour

Hi, just a vent. Not really a question.

My little easy to care for darling has turned into a limpet.  She insists on being with me all the time and screams like a banshee if I ever put her in her cot.   Much worse after having 2 weeks of mummy time while we were on holiday in Australia.  Gonna to be even worse because she's coming with me to Hong Kong on Thurs for 5 days - more dedicated Mummy Time and the following week another away trip.

I've given up trying to put her in the cot at night because I need some sleep (work full time), and just let her sleep next to me.

I have to have 2 minute showers while my darling is screaming her lungs out sitting in her cot!

My nanny and I have to either carry her (impossible all the time) or put her in a stroller and move it to every room as we go.

She's ok with my nanny generally, but if I'm in the room she now insists on being with me.

She no longer sleeps all night, but wakes to feed several times also screaming if I don't give her the required attention.

Phew!  Love her to bits!  But really hope this stage doesn't last too long!

Hi,

how are you going?

A bit easier, but not much.  Michaela, I call her Emmy as a nickname, still hates to sleep and it is a battle getting her to sleep every night.  But have been able to get her into her cot now - when she's sleeping -  and she'll sleep 5-6 hrs before waking for feed after which she'll sleep a few more hours.. and she still must be able to see someone all the time or she's screaming - stranger anxiety, i guess..

But she's very bright and active and delightful, so I'll just enjoy her being small while she still is.

Has it become any easier with Michaela yet?

Hope she is sleeping better now for you!
