Belly casting

Has anyone ever seen this or even tried it? I have seen it on tv on the various baby shows. I know someday many years from now I am going to want to remember my big 'ol pregnant belly (especially if these end up being our last) and since I am not about to step in front of the camera stretch marks and all, I found a belly casting kit that you can do it at home. The pix on the site are beautiful and some have some really elaborate paint jobs too. I was just wondering if anyone has tried it or the at home kit and been happy with the results. I think I may have found a place in my area that does it for you and am also going to check into that as well!

I was thinking that if the at home kit works out, I am going to paint it and put the twins names on it it respect to where they usually sit in my belly. I am gonna ask my sister to help as she has been dying for a project to work on for the twins. Then it will hang in their nursery. I am going to wait until I get a little bigger - closer to 30 weeks and I will definately post some pix for you to check out.
Angelbabies- I have looked at the castings of hands and feet as well and they look awesome the trouble is to find a time when they will hold still. I would like to cast their little feet and I figure if I can get to it in the first couple of weeks when they will most likely sleep through it, it may work out nicely! I remember trying to do just imprints of my neice and son's feet and the time elapse between the stuff being too watery and then too hard was incredibly quick and they only turned out "okay".

I had it done with my first, it was a baby shower gift.  They hired a woman and she came and made the mold of my stomach out of clay and then she asked me how I wanted it decorated.  It took about 3 weeks for me to get the finished product and it was wonderful. She put legs on mine and called it a belly bowl, it looks like a bowl so I store it on a table in my family room.

The website I found had a lot of people hanging them on the wall for decoration, one lady even used hers for a flower arrangement (again hung on the wall).
