Check w/ your OB office Re H1N1 Vaccine

Just wanted to let you ladies know for those of you who plan on getting the H1N1 vaccine and have found it is unavailable still in your area, check with you OB office to see if they have it. It was the last place I thought would have it, but I called to ask them about teh regular flu shot and they had the H1N1 vaccine (the one without the mercury in it!)

I just got mine today. Worth a shot for those of you interested.

I received my regular flu shot  in September, and Just received my h1n1 vaccination shot on Monday the 26th.  Both at my docs office.  I think for most pregnant women, we should be getting our vaccines there since we are in the high risk categories.

I checked first with my OB office and they said they will not be getting it.  Said I will have to go to one of the many walk in clinics. Which I have been informed will have a 3-4 hour wait time even if in the high risk group....  Heck with that.. Luckily my entire family was able to ge the regular flu shot.
