Confused, and worrying!!

Ok so my husband I had sex for the first time in since we conceived actually, and I started bleeding a little.  Now I was a cervix checker while ttc but had not checked since we got a positive test, but I checked this time cause I was worried with the bleeding and my cervix felt open and low.  I had went to the dr at 6 wks and she said it was closed and high...soo.. should I be worried with the bleeding and all.  I feel like this is my first pregnancy, even though we are on our third.  My husband could not understand why I was crying after we had just had sex but I'm terrified of losing the baby we tried so desperately to conceive.  Anyone got any words of wisdom?

When I was near the end of my last pregnancy a nurse practioner in my dr's office told us that there is a protein in semen that can induce contractions...  So - maybe have your husband pull out?!  Good luck with things!

Quinns momma is right! The cervix is VERY sensitive during pg and intercourse does commonly cause spotting. But, anything more than that certainly warrants a call to your Dr... after all, we pay them the big bucks (or at least our insurance companies do) to be there to answer those calls right??
As for cervical position... I drove myself CRAZY checking that forever!! I have finally decided that it is just not going to stay put and I need to stop checking before I lose my mind!
I agree... call your Dr. in the morning... let them know about the bleeding and that you think your cervix may be open and let them check you out... that should ease your mind. In the mean time if the bleeding has stopped and your not cramping, and your still emotional and experiencing other pg symptoms try to relax... you'll probably be just fine! (((hugs)))

Your cervix is very sensitive in pregnancy and slight spotting/bleeding after intercourse is quite common. It has happened to me as well. However anytime there is bleeding u should notify your doctor.

Also throughout the day your cervix does change positions. I am sure it is fine.

Call ur doc tomorrow to notify him of the bleeding and I am sure they will check u out and things will be just fine.   Good luck and keep us posted. :)
