I feel your pain!! I have had pretty bad "Morning, Noon, and Night Sickness", lol. (Luckily, I've only actually thrown up once).. the rest has just been bad nausea. TIPS: Snack, snack, snack (of course try healthy, nutritious, low-cal snacks). Don't let hunger get ahead of you. Never take your pre-natal vitamin on an empty stomach (some even take it right before bed (they won't feel nauseous if they're asleep!) I just bought a pair of "PSI" Bands (you can order from CVS.com ..it is supposed to be an Accupressure thing - I just put them on tonight ..so, we'll have to wait and see if they work! Also, when brushing your teeth.. use a flavor toothpaste that doesn't bother you.. and if brushing your tongue makes you gag now.. you'll prolly have to resort to just brushing the very front (tip) of it ..at least for a few weeks (or months) until some of the sickness passes!!
Hang in there! I HEAR that it's better in the 2nd trimester! Let's hope!
"knock on wood... knock knock knock" I've never really had anything but a little nausea here and there either, but I've had a few friends that had it really bad and they said the same thing... Keep saltines around at ALL TIMES, eat a few before you get outta bed, get up S L O W L Y... and I've also heard that warm (not hot just room temp) sprite can help as well as those anti nausea bands that you were around your wrists (I think its an accupressure thing) Best of luck to you!! I know morning sickness (or all day sickness in some cases) is really YUCKY!!! BUT.... remember Its also usually a great reminder of a healthy growing baby!!! Congrats mama!!
haha....i havent gotten it yet with this pregnancy, but my first pregnancy last year....it was AWFUL...it got to the point where I couldnt get out of bed without getting sick, I had to keep saltine crackers next to my bed and ate a couple before even getting up.
Just try to eat small frequent meals!
