What are you doing for your baby's first 4th of July?

Are any of you planning on doing anything for your babies first July 4th? We wont be taking our girls to the fireworks because Taylor is scared of loud noises but we were going to plan a day at the beach. What are all of you doing?

My sister-in-law & nephew will be flying in that morning to Jacksonville, so after we pick them up, we're going to the zoo. Really looking forward to it! Plus, I have cute little 4th of July outfits for the babies!

Aww that sounds like a lot of fun! I'd love to take the girls to the zoo but I know Eric will be like "really?" hahaha I've also mentioned bringing them to Disney for their second birthday (got an eye roll for that one). I just can't wait to do fun things with them!

Lil lady25, I know what u mean. I can't wait to take Emily to Disneyland for the first time. I think I'll be more excited than her. LoL

We're getting together with a few of my husband cousins on 4th of July for a BBQ and some fireworks. They all have kids and we're all around the same age so that should be fun. Emily has a 4th of July outfit!!! Can't wait!

We will probably be in deadwood south Dakota continuing our 17 day long vacation or on our way there.  My little Lauren is a great traveler!  So far we have been to Laramie Wyoming to see a prison, we are now at Yellowstone national park and will be here till friday.  Then to deadwood.  We are also supposed to see mount Rushmore.  We are supposed to see some stuff in Nebraska if the wildfires aren't too bad, then Kansas, Oklahoma, dallas Texas to a water park then finally home.  There are 9 of us total in a 12 passenger van and pulling a camper 32 ft.  Its been fun so far. Hope everyone has a great 4th.  I got a cute red and blue dress for Lauren to wear from dullards.  They had a bunch of usa stuff there.

I will probably go watch some fireworks, I bought amy a white shirt from walmart it had two little flower embellishments on it and took those off added rhinestones and made a bow for it... then made the same bow for a white headband and got a blue skirt at children's place... its spr cute.. im gonna see if i can upload a pic... i LOOKED everywhere for a cute outfit, but couldnt find anything i liked and i kind of wanted something she would be able to wear any other day, so what i'll do after the 4th is switch the bows on the shirt and headband and make a whole new outfit :D

don't know if the outfit question was for me, but I got the twins their outfits @ Carter's, but I have seen them also at Wal-Mart. Carly has a blue outfit with white stars & an elephant holding a sparkler. Ashton's is white & red jumper with an elephant on it as well.

Also, last year after the 4th when we still didn't know what we were having, I got them a "baby's 1st 4th of july" bib, so I'm super excited to use it!

@ Roxy562: if you do go to the zoo, have a blast! I think I may have more fun than my babies, hahah! I love going to zoo's!

We are going to a friend's lakehouse for the day. There's a pool, too, so we'll let Annabelle test the waters again. She's been in the pool twice now but not sure what to make of it. She's starting to splash more in baths so maybe this will be fun. She has a super cute red and white seersucker open back dress that has royal blue starts embroidered all over.

We've been talking about the zoo for two months now but it's so dang hot here!

Well, the zoo was a success :) The babies seemed to have a great time (although it was insanely hot!) and Ashton especially enjoyed the reptile house! He would bounce up and down in the stroller everytime we saw a snake, lol!
