how can u tell the difference

I'm 37 weeks on Friday. I been having braxton hicks .  they seem to be getting worst .. How can I tell the difference between real labor or just baton hicks

Practice contractions towards the end can and do hurt, that's normal and why its often called false labour. Basically the rule of thumb is regularity. If It's irregular its practice contractions and changing positions walking or sitting may ease them.
