labour pains for your first baby

How do you handle labour pains its my first baby im due the 7 of feburary to my baby girl any tips that could heelp anyone?

I was in labor for 36 hours...the way I dealt with them was I would lay down on my left side in the fetal position. I also walked and swayed my hips back and forth. I basically did whatever my body told me to do. This was my first pregnancy as well. I didn't believe it when people told me it would just come to you naturally and your body will tell you what to do but it did. When in labor don't second guess anything. If you feel better being on all four then do it.
