4cm dilated , stalled labor

I'm due Feb 12th and I'm 36w4d and I'm 4cm dilated and I've been having off and on contractions but my doctors won't induce me till I'm 39 weeks. I've tried everything to get labor started but nothing. anybody else this way.?

you can sit at 3-4 cm for weeks which is a good thing if your only just coming up to 37 weeks. your heading in the right direction but if you give your baby another week or two they'll  be all the healthier for it, which is probably  why your Drs are holding off on forcing your bodies into active labour. almost there ladies! good luck. :)

I've tried EPO to help get started with dilation, also walking/ dancing around with my kids. it help me some. Maybe sex if your up to it could help some as well.

Im 38+2 , im 0% dilated ... i need help ladies please tell me wat i can do to get at least 3cm , i had to have emergency c section with my daughter because i couldnt dilate at all & now its happening with my son , my doctor is tryna make me go 41 weeks before givin me a c section . I cant take another week after my due date so please give me some pointers on how to get dilated

It just means your babies need more time... let them cook till done, you don't want them to come too early.we have come this far we can make it a few more weeks :-) I have 22 days and know how you feel.

i thought that also , but they said you have to keep up with the contractions ifor them to actually keep you. I'm just so over this pregnancy already. my 2 other pregnancy never been this horrible

I'm ready to get it over with why make you wait my mom said when she had us if you dialate 3 cm. They use to keep them uuggh

ugh. it's so frustrating to me , I had PTL at 30 weeks till 33 weeks. he stretch me to 4cm but due to hospital policy they can't do anything unless I'm in real labor. I just want my son already lol
