Eat!! Lol :) Keep an open mind to all the possibilities. You will have a smoother and happier birth and labor if you're more open to things. Good luck mama!! Also congrats!

I just gave birth on 19th. Doctor had to induce me. Started from 0cm. Doctor inserted the pill, but still there wasn't much progress. Doctor then gave me pitocin and I took epidural 2 hours later. Not gonna lie but induction is a very long process. So make sure you get enough rest! I had to stay in the labor room for 24 hours. Checked in at 7.30pm on 18th. Had the pill at 9pm that nightm the day after, I wasn't allowed eat or drink since 6am since they were gonna hook me up on pitocin and epi at 10am and 12pm respectively. Had my baby at 8.42pm. It was worth it though. I wish you all the best!

He is giving me cervadil (I think that's what it's called) Wednesday night around 6pm to help soften my cervix and get contractions going. Then Thursday morning he will start the Pitocin. He assured me that it's not an easy or fast process and it can lead to a c section, but I'm okay with that. As long as she gets here safely, that's fine. Good luck to all of you ladies!! We are about to start a new journey of life

If you are not dilating on you own when you get induced, make sure they give you the vaginal suppository to dilate you as well as the pitocin. I only received pitocin and never dilated and always wondered if they could have done something to help that. I've read there is another pill (oral or suppository) meant to hep with dilation to be used WITH pitocin. Praying for you!!!

Sleep while you can! If you have visitors before you've given birth and you need your rest tell them to leave! Lol
