Gender disappointment ;-(

I feel really guilty for being sad... I had a 3D ultrasound today and it was revealed I am having a girl. My hubby and I both wanted a boy :-( I actually feel sad. Why? Baby is healthy I am super blessed. I really always wanted my 1 at born to be a baby boy. My hubby didn't say a word, I know he's disappointed which make me fe even more sad. ;-( I am 16w3D and my gender ultrasound is October 1st. The tech that did the US said she was 99% sure, could she be wrong?

Feeling gender dissapointment should not be judged. I also had a miscarriage and I have a challenging reproductive health. I am happy to be pregnant now, having feelings like this does not mean we won't love our babies if they are not the gender we wanted. It's human to have feelings of dissapointment and no one under any circumstances should judge...

I also did my usg on the same day. Tech said I am probably it's a girl. This is my 2nd child and my 1st one is a girl, so I am also upset, but it's Okey with my husband. I also wish the tech to be wrong.I did my usg on 18th week.

It makes me sad to see anyone be disappointed on the gender of their babies. I've have 2 miscarriages and also had twins that were 3 months premature and might not have made it without wonderful doctors. So I say be happy about it weather a boy or girl because you have been given a beautiful gift that is not given to all that wish they could have!

Did you do the 3d before your 20 weeks ultra sound? I am because I am so paranoid I have not had an ultra sound since I was 8 weeks I'm now 17.5.. My appointment is in just a few days.

We got a girl and not a lil boy, but I'm trying to remain positive. My Joy Silvas will bring lots of happiness and sunshine and I speak it with faith. And I'm grateful!

I'm also worried about the same thing my partner desperately wants a boy to the point he doesn't even care about girl names or anything and I'm scared to bring him with me in 2 weeks for the gender reveal, I already have a 13 and a half years old from a previous relationship so a boy would be great but I'll be happy I hope as long as it's healthy

I really don't mind. It's my husband's second and my 4th baby. My husband said he doesn't mind too, but I know deep down he would like a boy as we already have a girl together.

My husband DESPERATELY wants a boy. I'm Scared to take him to gender reveal for this reason. I'd like a boy as well, but girls are fun too... I'm conflicted.

My hubby and I were the same way. We both wanted a boy for out first one, but when we got an ultrasound done at 15w6d the tech assured us we were having a girl. It wasn't until I went and looked at girl stuff that I became excited. The only downside was soooo much pink! (I hate pink!) There is a small chance the tech could have been wrong. It's best to wait until 18-22 weeks to do the gender ultrasound. But just prepare yourself for the same result. Good luck!
